Become The Sheep That Speaks

What I've noticed a lot of people agreeing to Youtube's policies is that they don't question about anything. All they do is say "great job Youtube" or "Keep up the good work youtube" without objecting the possibilities that this is not for your own benefit. Many people are the sheep, being told what to do, not questioning with questions like "If " or "But". I Implore people, not just from youtube, but to everyone to ask questions, present them to the higher ups. Demand your place of 6 billion others of what you want to change and what you want to stay in place. Become more open minded to the ideals of others and the ideals of yourself. Even question yourself on your own beliefs and say if it is right or wrong. We are created on this blue marble to question and understand the human condition and our human rights. Not just stand and do whatever the larger entity wants you to do. We are human beings God Damn it!; and its time to start becoming the black sheep of the herd.

Money Makes Sense With YouTube

Youtube is crumbling and the updates are the cause. Youtube's excuse for the freezing of views
of many Small channel's videos was that people were artificially
making their view counts higher. Youtube's excuse for the change in
the homepage's sections where they replaced the names of most viewed,
most rated, and etc. with spotlight videos, featured videos, videos
being watched now and most popular was that they wanted us to have a
new perspective on videos with attractive titles. Youtube's excuse for
the removal of the bulletins for the recent activity section in the
user's channel was that people were complaining about them with chain
letters and other complaints. Youtube's crowning achievement was the
updates of April 16, 2009. Youtube's excuse for that update that they
wanted us to experience fine quality videos. Youtube is propagandizing
these updates for they truly are, ways to gain money. Money is the
simple equation in which all businesses thrive and communicate with.
Many of the view counts of Youtube's Small channels are suffering from
less recognition because of youtube manipulating the traffic growth
channel's like Fred to gain money from advertisements. Its because of
Youtube's incompetency to negotiate deals is why companies like WMG
and Viacom are having their way and pulling down unpopular videos that
contain content that they own. Youtube's strategy was to get rid of
the bulletins to disable our ability to share our content to everyone.
Youtube took away the old homepage to manipulate videos they decide to
go on the page so they can earn revenue from the advertisements on
those videos. This whole aspect of replying to the
community is to show that youtube want people to think that they care
for the people's issues. They don't care for any of your issues. They
do all this for their best interest, not yours. All youtube cares
about and listen to is money. And money does talk.

HULU TUBE - PHASING YOU OUT OF YOUTUBE

We need to do something about how youtube has been treating the smaller channels and partners soon or the site might as well be called Hulu Tube and prioretize the mega partner's videos over the user generated videos. Digg, Stumble and Buzz this video to make it news worthy. If you have a Youtube channel, repost this video and respond it to this video. Also rate, comment and share this video to everyone you know to get this heard. Youtube is getting rid of your rights as a creater and want you to be only a consumer. Show them that you are not a voice to be laughed at and show we want Youtube to be like in 2006 and not the current one now.

Problems with music

Music is a big problem on Youtube these days. Youtube videos that have music from artist or from movies in their videos are mostly likely are going to have their videos muted until they decide how to resolve the copyright claim. If this has happened to you before then you are not alone. Users I know have had their videos muted from these claims and even I have suffered from this sort of thing. When this happens to you, you are given four options to choose from:

1) Audioswap: This means to get rid of the music in your video and replace it with one of Youtube's selection of music. The problem with this is that dialogue and sound effects used in your video will be gone as well and the music may not match with what is going on in your video.

2) Resolove the claim: This means that you will be sending a message to youtube saying that the music that you used in your video is perfectly legit. When I say "perfectly legit", I do not mean that you wrote them in the credits or that you don't own the music. When I say "perfectly legit", I mean that you bought a license permiting that you can use the music. Buying music for such a license from a well known music artist or movie can cost about $100,000 at least.

3) Mute the video: This is self explainitory.

4)Deleting the video: This is self explainitory too.

What i suggest to do when selecting a music for your video is to check if you can use the music. Royalty free music for example, is a type of music that you can use that is legal (You should give them credit for the music though). Some of the royalty free music is free and some costs money. Many websites have music that is free and legal to download, like freeplaymusic.com. I will add on to this article later.

Youtube's Recent Activity Change.

You tried to fix a problem and that made a larger mess. When I saw the new changes a few days ago, I thought "hmmm...YOUTUBE finally fixed the problem with those annoying chain letter." Man I was really wrong. Now that YouTube has put up this crappy version of a bulletin, I can not reach to my audience as efficient as I should. Now I can only share my videos through sending messages. What is the chance someone will see my channel with a post to my newest video in recent activity. Not very likely. Id rather have the chain letters than no one knowing that I posted a new video. Youtube can tweek this out with the recent activity allowing to be broadcasting to other channels through contacts. You utube have a problem to limit our ways to promote our videos and sending information to other channels. You act like that you are king of this website. You think you can control our channels. Guess what YT, we made you who you are today, and we can easily take that away. You are repeating history of British rule in the colonies of the late 1700's. If this keeps up, we will call upon DMCA Reform.

Election Privacy

Today, I saw people on a couple of sites telling other people "Who would you vote for?". This just disgusted me. People have the right to privacy. The reason why voting booths have drapes covering the voter is to keep the voter's pick a secret. Asking someone who you want to vote for is the equivalence of asking what you were doing in the bathroom. Under Political Privacy, the voter has the right to the concealment of their vote through a secret ballot. The right of free speech allows people to express themselves through speaking, even telling someone who you would vote for. The law does allow you to answer questions of any kind. Just try to think of your rights to privacy before you decide to answer that question.
